An oil pump with a steel ring is provided to prevent abrasion of sliding surface even when foreign material flows in. An oil pump with a steel ring comprises an inner rotor(40) wherein a plurality of saw blades are formed in the outer circumference thereof, an outer rotor(30) wherein a plurality of saw blades corresponding to the saw blade of the inner rotor are formed in the inner circumference, a steel ring(50) which is equipped in the outer circumference of the outer rotor, and an oil pump housing(20) which houses the inner rotor, outer rotor and steel ring.
