A tactile input/output apparatus and a driving method thereof capable of increasing the durability of each cell are provided to reduce the thickness of the cell by separating unit input cell and unit output cell. One or more unit input terminal of an input terminal(30) includes a plurality of input cells(31) arranged at the constant interval. One or more unit output terminal of an output terminal(40) includes a plurality of output cells(41) arranged at the constant interval. A controller controls the output terminal in order to sense the input signal of the input terminal. One array is comprised of the state where the unit input terminal and unit output terminal are separated. The input-cell and output cell are arranged in the location which is not overlapped.
