1. A process for preparing 4-[[(benzoyl)amino]sulphonyl]benzoyl chloride of formula (II)in which
R1a to R1e and R2a to R2d are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C1-C6)-haloalkyl, (C1-C6)-alkoxy, (C3-C7)-cycloalkyl, (C1-C6)-alkylthio, (C3-C7)-cycloalkylthio, S(O)q—(C1-C6)-alkyl with q=0, 1 or 2, (C1-C6)-alkylcarbonyl, —CO-aryl, cyano and nitro, or in which any two adjacent R1a to R1e radicals form a —O—CH2CH2— radical, proceeding from a compound of the formula (III)in which
R1a to R1e are each as defined above, and a compound of formula (IV)in which
R2a to R2d are each as defined above, by reacting a compound of formula (III) and (IV)
in a solvent selected from the group consisting of the aprotic polar solvents, orin a solvent composition comprising at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of the aprotic polar solvents. |
