PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard device operation system capable of readily and strictly restrict the capability of an onboard device.SOLUTION: In an onboard device operation system, when an onboard device cancels or suspends a communication contract with a management server, the management server suspends a transmission feature of a communication module of the onboard device through remote control. A control unit of the onboard device always monitors a command for resuming communications which is received from a data center via the communication module. The management server suspends an action of recording driving data in a recording medium which is performed by a recording unit of the onboard device (S2). When the management server instructs suspension of communications, if a crew depresses a recording initiation button (S5), the onboard device does not accept but rejects a manipulation of initiating recording, and displays an error warning screen image on a display unit (S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
