The present invention provides a transparent barrier film that has excellent printing resistance, and that includes an inorganic layer and an organic layer having excellent adhesion and made by employing a vacuum. This transparent barrier film has a structure in which an inorganic layer and an organic layer having a thickness of from 50 nm to 150 nm inclusive are layered in this order on at least one surface of a plastic film, wherein the organic layer has a structure obtained by crosslinking and copolymerizing a compound (A) that includes an acryloyl group and/or a methacryloyl group and that is not a silane coupling agent, and a compound (B) that includes an acryloyl group and/or a methacryloyl group and that is a silane coupling agent.
