Apparatus for continuous production of emulsions or dispersions with exclusion of air comprising a closed mixing vessel with an inlet and outlet and a stirrer that permits agitation without cavitation or high-pressure homogenization, is new. An independent claim is also included for production of emulsions or dispersions with exclusion of air by continuously feeding separate fluid streams of the emulsion or dispersion components in metered amounts into an apparatus as above and continuously discharging the emulsion or dispersion.
