Provided are a method and device for interaction between network elements in a network architecture. The method comprises: an RAN CDN in a network architecture sending a first message for querying a user equipment state and applying for policy control to a PCRF via an SES, and sending a second message for querying the user equipment state and applying for service usage to an on-line charging system (OCS) via the SES; the RAN CDN receiving, via the SES, a first response message of the PCRF which responds to the first message and is used to notify the user equipment state and perform policy control, and receiving a second response message of the OCS which responds to the second message and is used to notify the user equipment state and perform usage control; and the RAN CDN controlling a used service of a user equipment according to the first response message and the second response message. By means of the present invention, the problem in the related art that an RAN CDN cannot be integrated with a PCRF and an OCS is solved. |
