POSITIONING STRUCTURE OF PLANAR COMPONENT AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

A positioning structure of a planar component and a display device using the positioning structure. A liquid crystal panel (11) is put on a frame (14) and a positioning component (32) for supporting the liquid crystal panel (11) in a positioned state is fitted to the frame (14) with a screw part (37). A position adjusting projected part (39) is formed on the frame (14) and a position adjusting hole part (41) for inserting the position adjusting projected part (39) therein is formed in the positioning component (32). The position adjusting hole part (41) is formed in such a size that allows the positioning component (32) to move in a direction in which the supporting surface (36) of the positioning component (32) is moved close to and apart from the liquid crystal panel (11) in the inserted state of the position adjusting projected part (39) therein. Supporting surfaces (42) generally parallel with a direction in which the support surface (36) of the positioning component (32) is moved close to and apart from the liquid crystal panel (11) are formed on the position adjusting projected part (39).
