PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blank holder force regulating system by which constant blank holder force is applied to the most regions of a blank holder and variable blank holder force is applied to one or more specific blank holder force regulating regions in a stamping press. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a system for regulating the blank holder force by using fluid compensation cylinders 5, 7 and the variation of the force in the specific blank holder force regulating regions is compensated and controlled so that a prescribed constant pressure in the most blank holder region is maintained.
