PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional shelf board support structure wherein there is a risk of an unstable shelf board and high cost. SOLUTION: This shelf board support member includes an elongate rail; a movable piece held and arranged within a rail passage; a shelf board receiving implement fixed to the movable piece held and arranged within the rail, from the outside of the rail; and a connecting screw with which the movable piece and the shelf board receiving implement are fastened to each other. The shelf board receiving implement includes a shelf board fit-in groove for fitting a shelf board, and a shelf board support part for supporting the shelf board fitted into the shelf board fit-in groove, from below. A front side plate of the rail is clamp-fixed by the shelf board receiving implement and the movable piece from the inside and outside by fastening the connecting screw. When the connecting screw is loosened to release clamping, the shelf board receiving implement is slid along the rail passage together with the movable piece to make the position of the shelf board receiving implement adjustable. The movable piece may be provided with a spring for the piece. Further, a gasket lock groove may be provided.
