PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-sheath type conjugated filament having excellent uniform dyeability and to provide a method for producing the filament, further in particular, the core-sheath type conjugated filament having excellent dynamic characteristics, softness and uniform dyeability though polylactic acid is contained as a constituent component and to provide the method for producing the core-sheath type conjugated filament by which stable yarn manufacturing properties are obtained in steps with little yarn breakage when the conjugated filament is produced. SOLUTION: The core-sheath type conjugated filament includes a polyester component A which is the polylactic acid forming the core part and a polyester component B which is polytrimethylene terephthalate forming the sheath part and satisfies following requirements (A) to (C): (A) the conjugate weight ratio of the polyester component A to polyester component B is (20:80) to (80:20), (B) the coefficient of variation of fineness in the longitudinal direction of the core-sheath type conjugated filament is 1% or less, and (C) the coefficient of variation of wet heat shrinkage in the longitudinal direction of the core-sheath type conjugated filament is 5% or less.
