A position detection communication system is provided, which enables to indicate the result of the maintenance work by performing the maintenance work. A position sensor(11) detects the shift of the machine. The A/D converter(13) is connected to the position sensor. The numerical control device(15) is connected to the A/D converter. The position signal transformed by the A/D converter is received. The information processing unit(16) is connected to the A/D converter via the two-way communications part. The information processing unit comprises storage, computing part, and display unit. The storage stores data and program. The computing part performs the program. The display unit indicates the result of execution by the computing part and data stored in the storage.
