A 2,12-diethyl-11-methylhexadecyl 2-ethyl-11-methylhexadecyl phthalate compound is provided to show anti-oxidation, beta-secretase inhibition effect, hypertension inhibition effect, tyrosinase inhibition effect and to prevent cytotoxin. A 2,12-diethyl-11-methylhexadecyl 2-ethyl-11-methylhexadecyl phthalate compound has a structure of chemical formula 1. The compound of chemical formula 1 is obtained by the steps of: pulverizing freeze-dried Hippocampus Kuda Bleeler 2 kg; extracting the powder with methanol 3-5 L in a room temperature for 15 days; obtaining crude methanol extract by evaporating solvent from the methanol extract; and purifying the crude methanol extract by using a chromatography method.
