PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification.SOLUTION: A hydrogen gas supply apparatus 30 comprises: a main tank 31; a sub tank 32; a first passage 36 for connecting the main tank 31 with a fuel cell 21; a second passage 37 for connecting the main tank 31 with the sub tank 32; and a third passage 38 for connecting the first passage 36 with the second passage 37. A first check valve 39 is provided on the first passage 36's part between the main tank 31 and part connected with the third passage 38, where the first check valve permits a hydrogen gas to flow from the first passage 36 into the main tank 31 by preventing the hydrogen gas from flowing out from the main tank 31 while opening the valve with first set pressure. A second check valve 41 is provided on the second passage 37's part between the sub tank 32 and part connected with the third passage 38, where the second check valve permits a hydrogen gas to flow out from the main tank 31 by preventing the hydrogen gas from flowing from the sub tank 32 into the main tank 31 while opening the valve with second set pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
