PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enabling improvement in on-snow performance and wear resistance performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire is partitioned into one line of a center land part 21, two lines of intermediate land parts 22 and two lines of outside land parts 23 by four main grooves. A plurality pieces of combined grooves 30 comprising lateral grooves 31 one end of which communicates with a main groove 10 at its one side and another end of which is closed in a land part 20, and a sipe 32 extending from another end of the lateral groove 31 to the main grooves 10 at its another side, are formed on either one of the center land part 21 and the intermediate land part 22 in a tire peripheral direction at intervals. These combined grooves 30 is disposed so that an opening direction to the main groove 10 of the lateral grooves 31 are alternately reversed along the tire peripheral direction. Each of the lateral grooves 31 is provided with a wide part 31a opened at the main groove 10 and extending in a prescribed groove width and a narrow part 31b located between the wide part 31a and the sipe 32 and extending in a prescribed groove width narrower than the wide part 31a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
