PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery that ensures high safety when a temperature rises due to overcharge, high-temperature preservation or the like.SOLUTION: A secondary battery of the present invention includes a first battery element, and a second battery element which has a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a separator arranged therebetween and which is electrically connected in parallel to the first battery element.
