An uninterruptible power system. When a failure occurs in a first power source (100) of the system, a second power source discharges to a direct-current bus by means of a bidirectional power converting unit (600) in the process in which a switching unit (300) performs switching from the first power source to the second power source (200) for power supply; and during the switching process, electric energy stored in the direct-current bus (400) is also released in a short time period, the discharge current of the second power source and the discharge current of the direct-current bus are output to a system output end (500) by the direct-current bus; and accordingly, it is ensured that the voltage output by the direct-current bus during the idle period of action of the switching unit is stable, the switching by a switching device is safe and reliable, and the requirement for the capacitance value of the direct-current bus is lowered. Because the bidirectional power converting unit only supports the bus voltage of the direct-current bus in a short time period when the switching device acts, and accordingly, the specifications and the size of a charger unit can be lowered. |
