PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device configured to improve fixing workability significantly, while allowing an operation section to move freely, and a fixing method thereof.SOLUTION: An operation device 3 includes: an operation-side mechanism section 34 having an operation shaft 341; a transmission member 33A; a base section 35 having a cover support section, and to be fixed to a predetermined object to be fixed; and a cover section 36 which is turnably fixed to the cover support section, and turns toward the operation shaft 341. The operation shaft 341 moves between a predetermined first position and a predetermined second position, with its tip depressed. When turning toward the operation shaft 341, the cover section 36 moves in contact with the operation shaft 341 or a one-side hinge section located between the operation shaft 341 and the cover section 36, to depress the operation shaft 341 directly or via the one-side hinge section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
