Infusion system comprises a hollow needle support unit (1) fixed to the body of the patient, an infusion needle (2) for inserting into the patient, a pump unit (4) connected to the hollow needle support unit and a charging station (9) for the pump unit for charging the battery (6) of the pump unit. The pump unit has a pump (5), a battery and a storage volume (7) for the medicine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Pump unit for the infusion system; and (2) Charging station for the infusion system. Preferred Features: The pump unit has a pressure sensor for monitoring an infusion pressure of the medicine. The battery in the pump unit is inaccessible to the user. |
