In order to make available a vehicle pneumatic tyre in which the profile depth can be easily read off at any time, it is proposed that the cutout in the tread be made substantially triangular with a lower tip (19), and the cutout be arranged, in its plane of extent, substantially perpendicularly with respect to the tread surface, wherein the remaining profile depth in the tread can be determined at any time by means of the length dimension of the abrasion indicator, wherein the remaining profile depth is calculated substantially from the product of a predefined factor and the length dimension of the abrasion indicator. |
