PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting device and a casting method capable of reducing equipment cost and improving a filling property of molten metal.SOLUTION: A casting device comprises: a divided casting mold which is used for forming a cavity and includes a lower casting mold, an intermediate casting mold for sliding in a horizontal direction on the lower casting mold and an upper casting mold; a divided casing which is used for forming a chamber and includes a lower side casing for installing the lower casting mold and an upper side casing for installing the upper casting mold; a chamber suction device for decompressing the inside of the chamber via chamber pipes; and a cavity suction device for decompressing the cavity while controlling the timing to start suction in the respective cavity pipes via the plurality of cavity pipes. When the intermediate casting mold is closed on the lower casting mold and the divided casing is closed, the cavity and the chamber are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
