Provided are: a molding for which excessive increase in molding mass is limited while the occurrence of warping during manufacture, such as when being released from the die, is limited; and a manufacturing method for said molding. The present invention is a molding (11) provided with a sheet-shaped composite material section (110) formed from a fiber-reinforced composite material containing reinforcing fibers (f1) and a matrix resin (A), and protruding ribs (112a) and (112b) formed directly on a first surface (111) of the composite material section (110) and containing a thermoplastic resin (B), wherein the ribs (112a) and (112b) intersect with each other on the first surface 111, and the mean width t, mean height H and the proportion occupied on the first surface 111 are within specified ranges. The present invention is also a manufacturing method for the molding (11) comprising a composite material section-forming step for forming the composite material section (110), and a rib-forming step for forming the ribs (112a) and (112b) so as to satisfy the above conditions. |
