The invention relates to an optical resonator (1) for a high-power fibre laser having an optically active medium which, according to the invention, comprises a multimode fibre (2) having a fibre core (10) doped at least in sections, wherein the multimode fibre (2) is arranged between a highly reflective first reflection element (3) and an at least partly transmissive second reflection element (4). The first reflection element (3) comprises a dielectric mirror (5). The invention furthermore relates to a fibre laser (100) comprising an optical resonator (1) embodied in this way. The first reflection element (3) can be embodied as a curved dichroic mirror, which firstly simplifies the coupling-in of the pump radiation from a pump module (7) and also reduces the resonator losses. The second reflection element (4) can be embodied as a partly reflective fibre Bragg grating. |
