PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a column offset in a constitution in which plural pixels output image signals via one pixel amplifier.SOLUTION: A CMOS sensor includes: an effective pixel region (30a, 203) which comprises plural pixel blocks (307) consisting of plural photoelectric converters (PD 315a to 315d) and one pixel amplifier (318) shared by the photoelectric converters; and a reference pixel region (30b, 202) which comprises plural pixels each comprising one pixel amplifier (304) and outputting a signal based on electric charges accumulated without regard to incident light. Column offset detection means detects a column offset from residual signals obtained by excluding signals having signal values being out of a predetermined detection range from signals outputted from the reference pixel region, and a column offset removal circuit (111) corrects the column offset of the signal obtained from the CMOS sensor. |
