PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen and ozone generating apparatus which can efficiently generate oxygen and ozone by using the oxygen concentrated by an oxygen pump and by utilizing the heat generated during discharge for the operation of the oxygen pump. SOLUTION: The oxygen and ozone generating apparatus is provided with an oxygen pump element in which electrodes are formed on both sides of a solid electrolyte having an oxygen ion conductivity and with a discharge body in which a flat electrode and linear electrodes are formed on both sides of the dielectric body, and is constructed so as to heat and operate the oxygen pump element by heating of the discharge body.
