To provide a method for bringing down a power generation wind turbine which can demolish a power generation wind turbine by a quick and simple method. A method for bringing down a power generation wind turbine has a bending position setting step for setting a midway height position of a tower 16 as a bending position A for bending, a string-like body attachment step for attaching a first wire 20 by guiding the first wire 20 downward through a relay portion 18 disposed in the vicinity of the bending position A while fixing one end of the wire to an upper end portion of the tower 16, a cut portion forming step for forming a cut portion C1 at the bending position A of the tower 16 and on an opposite side to a bending direction, and a bending step for performing a bending operation by applying a force to an upper portion relative to the bending position A of the tower 16 in the bending direction while pulling a second wire 22 downwards, wherein the bending step is continued until a nacelle 14 and blades 12 are brought to a predetermined low position. |
