PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber unit capable of being housed in an optical cable reduced in diameter.SOLUTION: An optical fiber unit 1 comprises multiple paralleled coated optical fibers 10 and coupling materials 20 for coupling the multiple coated optical fibers 10.
