A modular support (10) for an endless load-carrier of a conveyor includes an elongate free-standing cast body (12) of a settable material that has set, and support means (14,16) mounted to the cast body (12) to support an endless load-carrier for displacement in a longitudinal direction relative to the cast body (12).
