PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool dispensing with a recoating process when regrinding the cutting tool, and to provide a regrinding method of the cutting tool.SOLUTION: A preliminary groove 9 including a preliminary cutting blade X having the same shape as a cutting blade 4 is formed in advance in parallel on a flank face 6 of a blade part 1A of a cutting tool 30. A coating layer 10 is formed in advance in the preliminary groove 9 on the flank face 6 and on a rake face 5. When regrinding becomes necessary because the cutting tool 30 is abraded, the rake face 5 is reground up to a continuous position to a preliminary rake face part Y, and the preliminary cutting blade X is used as a new cutting blade 4. |
