PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the probability of notifying a sleeping person of wake-up with proper timing in an alarming apparatus that notifies the sleeping person of wake-up on the basis of a sleeping state of the sleeping person.SOLUTION: An alarming apparatus includes: a detecting section for outputting a body movement signal by detecting the body movement of a sleeping person; a signal processing section 50 for extracting a judgment index from the body movement signal and extracting a coarse movement signal resulting from the coarse movement of the sleeping person from the body movement signal; and a notification section 55 for determining whether or not the sleeping person has entered rapid eye movement sleep on the basis of the judgment index and determining whether or not the sleeping person is in an awakening state on the basis of the coarse movement signal. The notifying section 55 outputs an operation command signal to a piezoelectric buzzer 36 when at least one of two conditions that the sleeping person has entered the rapid eye movement sleep and the sleeping person is in the awakening state is satisfied. |
