PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the operation of a bending correction device and securely correct the bending of an excavated hole while avoiding the complication of the device when the excavated hole is corrected in excavating the hole by a rotary excavator such as an earth auger. SOLUTION: In the rotary excavator such as the earth auger, this device comprises, at one end of the tip excavating head 11, an expandable reaction plate 13 formed so that one portion is projected larger than the outer diameter of the excavating head in expanding and stored within the outer diameter of the excavating head in contracting is fitted to one end of the tip excavating head 11. Also, the device comprises a mechanism for projecting, by one time in one turn, the reaction plate 13 in a specific district in synchronism with the rotation of the excavating head.
