PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tool having an illuminating device to illuminate the driven region of a piece to be driven such as nail, allowing a driving operation of the driven piece into a work to be processed and assuring an enhanced easiness in handling. SOLUTION: A pin tacker 100 as the driving tool has a lighting switch 147 to start illumination of the driven region of a pin with a light 145, and when a trigger 141 is drawn, a safety lever 143 is set from the locking position to the unlocking position so that the switch 147 is put on.
