PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin mold capable of improving productivity by preventing the damage of long-side copper plates composing the mold. SOLUTION: The twin mold is provided with: a mold body formed of a pair of mold long-side copper plates 1, 2 and a pair of mold short-side copper plates 3, 4; and a partition unit 10 to be inserted/removed to the mold body. The partition unit 10 has a partition part 30 with a water-cooled box structure. Both the right and left side faces in the partition part 30 are respectively attached with partition copper plates 11, 12. Both the surface and rear side faces are respectively provided with hydraulic cylinders 40 of pressing and energizing the mold long-side copper plates 1, 2. Then, the hydraulic cylinders 40 are composed of: hydraulic chambers 41 formed on both the surface and rear side faces of the partition part 30; and pressure plates 42 each inserted into the hydraulic chamber 41.
