<p>A method of producing a mechanism for converting rotational motion into linear motion, in which a situation where planetary shafts are assembled tilted relative to a sun shaft can be avoided. The method includes a step of constructing an assembly of shafts and gears with the planetary shafts held in parallel to the sun shaft and a step of causing second planetary gears to mesh with both a second sun gear and a second ring gear while a second planetary gear is being set onto the outer peripheral surface on the other end of each planetary shaft included in the assembly. In the above, the assembly of shafts and gears is composed of a sun shaft having first and second sun gears at both ends and also having a male screw thread at the center, planetary shafts each having a first planetary gear at one end and also having a male screw thread at the center, ring shafts each having a female screw thread formed on it, and first and second ring gears.</p> |
