The securing appliance for tendon grafts comprises of a part in the shape of a part of a cylinder, with rings on the outer surface for securing the tendon graft and screw threads on the inner surface, and a screw, with a hole cut at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the part and a smaller diameter tail with a threaded hole to use with a protractor or an extractor. The appliance can be used in securing grafts (tendon etc) in orthopaedic operations (knee etc). |
