MOUSE BEING ABLE TO DETECT WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK SIGNAL

A mouse equipped with a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) signal detection function is provided to enable a user to recognize a wireless Internet area quickly without turning on a computer by including components for detecting and indicating intensity of the WLAN. An indication unit(31) indicates detection and intensity of a WLAN signal at an outer side of a mouse, and a BPF(Band Pass Filter)(13) receives/detects a signal included in or near a WLAN band. An RF(Radio Frequency) detector(14) converts the signal received from the BPF into the signal to be analyzed. An MCU(Micro Control Unit)(21) checks a nearby AP(Access Point) and a signal intensity of the AP by analyzing the signal received from the signal processing module, and operates the display unit according to a checked result. A switch(18) for turning on/off a WLAN signal detection function is installed to the outside of the mouse. The indication unit comprises a plurality of LEDs and represents the signal intensity to a user by turning on the predetermined number of LEDs corresponding to the detected signal intensity.
