The invention relates to vascular catheters destined to repair stenosis or other damage of vessels at their branch points. It is a special vascular catheter at the upper end of which there are incorporated two or several different balloons or one compliant balloon and a special endovascular catheter allowing the control of the deformation of its end taking the form of a trumpet funnel. The deformation and expansion of the splint at the mouth and body of the vascular branches are controlled by inflation of the spherical and longitudinal balloon. Upon application of the catheter into a constricted vascular branch, there is obtained the complete and symmetrical coverage thereof with the metal helixes of the splint so that the danger of thrombosis and the occurrence of a new stenosis are dramatically reduced while the creation of a maximum possible lumen at the vascular branches is guaranteed. Advantages: easy, safe and fast application for treating the atheromatosis and stenosis of vessels bifurcations and branches in general as well as for facing other vascular damage such as separation of the vessel wall. |
