<p>At a transition to a standby state of a mobile terminal (100) having a TV receiving part, the TV receiving part is activated, while the data of a standby picture, which is stored in advance, is combined with the data of a predetermined image to display a resultant combined image. Thereafter, at a predetermined timing, the predetermined image in the combined image is switched to a real-time TV image received by the TV receiving part for display. Therefore, even in a blank interval during which no TV image can excellently be displayed because of preparation of a TV image display just after the transition to the standby state, an image can be displayed in the standby picture. This can enhance the promotion for the mobile terminal to use TV broadcasts.</p> |
