A light diffusion sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which improves the optical diffusion efficiency by making the air bubble mean size and average density identical or different. A light diffusion sheet(100) having the light diffusing layer formed in the identical sheet is made of the material of the optical permeability. The light diffusion sheet has multi-layers. The light diffusion sheet comprises the light diffusing layer(200) and the light transmission layer(300). A plurality of air bubbles(210) are distributed inside the light diffusing layer. The air bubble is not distributed inside the light transmission layer. The multi-layers of the light diffusion sheet layer are classified by foaming in the same sheet.
