A dispensing apparatus is suitable for the reception of a cartridge containing a dispensable medium. A dispensing plunger is configured to be arranged at or in the dispensing apparatus, the dispensing plunger having an end face which acts on the cartridge for a dispensing of the medium out of the cartridge.
