PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect filling of a specified amount to a toner recovery container of a waste toner with high accuracy, and prevent toner jamming at a toner inflow port of the toner recovery container from occurring in a case where fluidity of the waste toner is low.SOLUTION: An image formation device A includes: a toner detection sensor 23 configured to detect a waste toner at predetermined detected positions 24a and 24b of a toner recovery container 20; a toner inflow port 22 of the toner recovery container; variable means 30 configured to vary a horizontal distance to the detected positions or the height position of the detected positions; and control means 40 configured to control the variable means. The control means, while arranging the detected position at a predetermined position, increases the horizontal distance or the height position with respect to the predetermined position in a case where at least one condition of the following conditions is established: a condition (1) that a waste toner estimation amount stored in the toner recovery container is a predetermined amount or less; a condition (2) that an environment humidity is a predetermined value or less; and a condition (3) that a printing rate at an image formation part is a predetermined value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
