Provided is a blocking preventing device for an exhaust pipe fuel injector that enables an improvement in fuel economy over conventional art. A blocking preventing device 117 for an exhaust pipe fuel injector is provided with: a blocking preventing injection performing section 119 that drives the exhaust pipe fuel injector; and a blocking preventing injection suspending section 120 that suspends the driving of the exhaust pipe fuel injector 116 by the blocking preventing injection performing section 119 until the distance travelled since the start of driving of the exhaust pipe fuel injector 116 reaches a threshold or more even when the exhaust temperature reaches a threshold or more.
