An image forming apparatus (1) is equipped with an image forming unit (5), a conveying unit (L), and a manual paper feed unit (8). The image forming unit (5) forms images on paper (P). The conveying unit (L) conveys the paper (P). A portion of the conveying unit (L) is configured from a conveyance guide unit (83) and an exterior unit (82). The exterior unit (82) is disposed so as to face the conveyance guide unit (83), and configures a portion of the exterior surface of the image forming apparatus (1). The manual paper feed unit (8) is equipped with a paper feed roller (821) and a retard roller (831). The paper feed roller (821) is disposed on the exterior unit (82) and feeds the paper (P) mounted on a manual tray (81) to the conveying unit (L). The retard roller (831) is disposed on the conveyance guide unit (83) and separates the paper (P) fed from the paper feed roller (821). |
