A battery charger (10) in one aspect of the present disclosure includes an attachment portion (13), a charging circuit (51), a positive electrode terminal (41), a negative electrode terminal (42), at least one signal input terminal (43, 44, 45), an analog value acquisition device (52), a charging current detector (54), a comparison processor (52), and a current value reflection processor (52). The current value reflection processor (52) performs one of a variable determination process for reference values and an analog value correction process. The variable determination process is a process for the current value reflection processor (52) to variably determine the reference value based on a value of a charging current detected by the charging current detector (54). The analog value correction process is a process for the current value reflection processor (52) to correct an analog value to be used in a comparison by the comparison processor (52) based on the value of the charging current detected by the charging current detector (54). |
