Ways to control distribution and tracking of consumer information are described. Such tracking may be associated with user device (110) presence within a defined region (440). The user device provides at least one user interface (UI) (100) listing a set of information types to be tracked within the defined region. The UI includes a set of controllers (170) that are able to receive a set of user selections regarding distribution and tracking of the information types. The information types include location, identity recognition, and transaction information. Based on the set of user selections, collection and/or tracking of information may be performed (or not) depending on the states of each controller in the set of controllers. |
