<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in the case of adopting a transfer system in which an intermediate transfer medium is pressed on a sheet photoreceptor under high load and a speed difference is set in a color image forming apparatus in which Y, M, C and K color image forming means are arranged around a photoreceptor, image unevenness occurs on impact produced when a discontinuous part of the sheet photoreceptor passes a contact part with the intermediate transfer medium. <P>SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus is fabricated so that an exposure position of an LED print head is located in an interpage area between pages when the discontinuous part of the sheet photoreceptor passes the contact part with the intermediate transfer medium, whereby even if the speed of the photoreceptor varies on impact, no image unevenness occurs in a color image and a high quality image can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
