<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for a lithium-ion secondary battery cathode with an obtained lithium-ion secondary battery excellent in battery performance and safety, as to one with high binding capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A binder composition comprising a monomer unit (a)derived from an α, β-unsaturated nitrile compound and a monomer unit (b) derived from acrylic ester or methacrylate ester, and containing a copolymer (B) component with less than 15 mol% monomer units (c) derived from conjugated diene as well as a polymer (B) component with not less than 15 mol% monomer units derived from conjugated diene, a volume of the (B) component being 5 to 25% by mass to the (A) component, is used as the lithium-ion secondary battery cathode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
