PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner that is excellent in low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage stability, and a binder resin for an electrophotographic toner used for the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic toner containing polyester obtained through condensation polymerization of an alcohol component containing 2 mol% or more and 70 mol% or less of spiro-glycol and a carboxylic acid component containing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound. Also provided is a binder resin for an electrophotographic toner obtained through condensation polymerization of an alcohol component containing 2 mol% or more and 70 mol% or less of spiro-glycol and a carboxylic acid component containing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
