MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL FOR PERFORMING AUTO RECEIVING NOTIFICATION CHANGING MODE AND METHOD THEREOF

A mobile communication terminal for performing an automatic reception notification conversion mode and a method therefor are provided to change the reception notification mode automatically according to a level of a peripheral noise signal, thereby solving a user's inconvenience of changing the reception notification mode according to various situations. A storage(111) stores a level of more than one reference noise signal. An audio processor(120) measures a level of noise signals recognized by driving a microphone(123) based on a set automatic reception notification conversion mode. A noise signal level comparator(130) compares the measured level of the noise signals with the stored level of the reference noise signals to output the compared results. A controller(140) converts the reception notification mode of a terminal(100) into a bell mode/vibration mode according to the outputted results.
