An oil separating device is provided to recover cutting oil and to enable fast machining by forming oil discharge holes in a rotating bowl which are larger than a chip size but preventing a chip from penetrating. An oil separating device comprises the followings: a fixed outer case(110) with a lid; an inner case(108) fixed inside the outer case; a rotating bowl(106) installed inside the inner case, to be rotated by a motor(114); and a hopper(104) for supplying a chip(101) stuck with oil to the rotating bowl. As the rotating bowl is formed with multiple oil discharge holes, when the rotating bowl rotates, the oil stuck to the chip rotating in the rotating bowl is separated and discharged through the oil discharge hole by centrifugal force. The discharged oil is gathered in an oil storage container(100) along an oil discharge pipe(118) formed in the inner case wrapping the rotating bowl. The rotating bowl is formed in a double structure of an inner wall with multiple oil discharge holes and an auxiliary bowl separated from the inner wall with a regular gap. The auxiliary bowl is connected with multiple pins, which are inserted to the oil discharge holes.
